Does your high school offer more than two years of the same foreign language? If so, I’d strongly urge you to find room in your senior schedule for another year of French, as both Yale and Stanford prefer to see four years of a foreign language. If, however, your school only offers two years, then they won’t hold it against you that you haven’t taken more.

They offer up to 3 years of french iirc but idt i have room in my senior schedule at this point, ill look into it though

Great catch !!! OP how many APs? What’s not required. Language is a must here.

You are a strong candidate and I think you have a definite chance for admission at either one of these schools. That said, these colleges have far more strong applicants apply than they have room for, so the vast majority of strong candidates get a rejection/waitliist.

Since you are so much further along in math, and I don’t know what electives or other classes you’ll be taking in senior year, I would still try really hard to get that third year of French in.

Yeah, will do. My school operates on a block schedule (semesters), so I think it’ll be easier. Thanks for the catch!
