<p>Classes: all honors except english, and AP gov and AP econ (couldnt due more due to my fencing schedule)</p>

<p>SAT: math- 630, reading-600, writing 540 total 1770
ACT- 25 composite, math-26, reading-25, science 27, writing 24 with essay 10/12</p>

<p>Work Experience:
i sell the honey my bee hive make and the produce i grow at our farm stand
Extracurriculars:
25 hours per week for fencing with the Olympic coach in NYC (live in CT w/ 1.5 commute)
along with national/international competitions, and national ranked
organic gardening in the spring-fall, 9-12 grade
beekeeping 12-17 years old
farming with family 2 hrs per day
haying in the summer with my father 8-12 hrs per week
key club in 9th grade</p>

<p>Service:
40 hours of community service in 9th grade
9-12 grade worked for 2 weeks at a home for abused children </p>

MENSA (IQ 155)
my worry is if i can get in, and which school to apply too.</p>

<p>you have a much better shot at CAS- your EC’s are good and interesting but your gpa (if unweighted), SAT and ACT are low. i wouldnt submit the ACT if i were you, play up your EC’s more and focus more on your unique background rather than academic achievements</p>

<p>Yeah, your chances are much better at CAS (Stern is the most competitive school at NYU).</p>

<p>But I think the fact that you are so unique could really help your application, I bet they don’t get a lot of farmers like yourself.</p>

<p>And fencing is just awesome. If I was an admissions counselor, I would be partial to the students that fenced.</p>
