*I'm applying ED at Stern

Wharton and Stern are both, on any given day, the hardest admits at Penn and NYU. When you take into account the fact that these are both two of the most competitive schools in the country, it makes it hard to chance anyone accurately. However, you seem like a very strong candidate; very well rounded academically, good scores, ECs, etc. Full pay and ED at stern will also help. Good luck

Can someone chance me?

I think you will be admitted ed to stern.

Thanks guys. Just crossing my fingers and hoping

Bump

Bump

Stern is a reach but you stand a good chance. Wharton is a high reach and is unlikely. The best part of you app is your stadardized scores. You junior year grades will hurt you and you overall grades, while good, are a little low for Wharton. You ECs are only average for a place like Wharton. To put this all a diferent way, your credentials are good enough to get a review at Wharton but you will need to have excellent letters of recommendation and essays because nothing else in your application stands out. Remember that the RD acceptance rate at Wharton is somewhere in the 5-7% range.

Yeah I know that, but unfortunately, I only wanted to go into finance this year so I don’t have the finance ec’s. But overall, my ec’s are pretty good and different, or that’s what I assumed. Wharton’s probably too much of a reach, so I think I might try to transfer there. But I think I can get into Stern ED.

I also wanted to add that I am an editor for the newspaper club at my school, not that it’s very significant or changes anything lol.

I think you have a great shot a both Stern and Wharton. Scores are good. GPA is within range as well. A lot will depend upon who else from your school also applies.

I’m pretty lucky in that regard. Despite my school being extremely competitive and ranked as a top 100 public school in the nation, all the kids are applying to science based schools.

Bump

wharton is reach but stern is high match assuming that you are paying full tution. chance back
