Whoa, very very very impressive EC’s. Your a match, and could get accepted into better universities then Syracuse.

@thegrant‌ thank you for that buddy. much appreciated. a lot of people tend to shame me based on my test scores and my test scores alone. but, I try not to let it get to me. really I’m looking for a good college experience, good graduation rate, good compsci/business/econ programs and preferably in Cal or NY

@kcheese‌ haha no problem, your SAT Math would be hard to improve(700), and they say that the CR is the hardest section to improve on, but your writing section(540) is easily jumped from just understanding the format of how to write the essay and such(Its the easiest part of the test to improve because the SAT asks the same essay question only worded differently each time). You could easily break 2000 on the SAT if you focus on the essay and practice vocab and CR

I have no doubt at all that you’ll get in to syracuse. I did (same sat score as you) and I did not have nearly as impressive credits. Also, I got into the honors program which you definitly would too. If it helps, syracuse was also very good with financial aid. I’m in a lower middle class bracket and I would have only had to pay 8,000 to go after aid and scholarships. If you show the school you really really want to go you may even be in the running for some big scholarships. Also, you’d have no problems getting into higher tier schools than syracuse as well. Again, you’re stats are better than mine and i got into Boston college, fordham, northeastern, and brandeis (which I’m attending). Kudos to you!!!

@Isabelle99‌ You say you applied to Fordham…I did too. Is there financial award really that bad as others say? I also applied to Syracuse. And I fall in <20,000 income.
