I’m a sophomore and this year I’m in the scholastic bowl, Science Olympiad, have worked with a professor on this research project and won Intel Science Fair!!
I have a perfect 4.0 and am first chair for my orchestra class!
I really want to go to the Ivy League, it’s all I’ve ever dreamed for!!!

I swear, every kid on here says the same thing and gets told the same vague thing over and over again. It’s like they all go to a “fairly competitive school” and have done “Science Olympiad” and then freaks out on whether or not the B they got sophomore year would destroy their chances at Ivy League.
And when people respond they always say: stand out!, get better extra-curriculars!, be yourself!
Like I know it’s not the answer they were looking for, but it really is a lottery.
