  • No formal work experience: helped run a small day camp at a friends house (summer), and mentored a group of kids in various sports for a couple of weeks

I think you have a good list. Are all these schools affordable to you? Be sure to have a financial and academic safety with rolling admission. It will help take a lot of the stress off.

All look good except W&M and Richmond.

Edit: 1530 SAT… Do you think Richmond is more of a reach than Wake/Nova

My child was admitted to W & M, Nova, Wake & Richmond with slightly lower SAT scores. Regular decision was extremely competitive for all schools - try for Early Action at those schools that offer it. SHOW INTEREST!
