I’m sure you know this already. GPA/SAT/ACT is on the lower side of listed U’s.
Naviance past admitted scores tells me you got 50/50 chances at UT Austin and the rest of U’s lower than 50%.

If you got the $$ and time to apply, Go for it…

Thanks! I did know already that all of these schools were reaches, that’s why I was asking about them. I wouldn’t want to apply to a school where there is absolutely no chance of me getting in, but if I have some chance I want to apply.

sorry, I try to post url,
please google below, both websites will help you what you did or didn’t know already.

Good Luck,

If you want to go into education, you need to strike most of these schools off your list. With private and OOS schools, the debt payments would be far too high to make it worthwhile on a teacher’s salary. Stay in-state and go to a public university. Once you’re certified, your certification could potentially transfer to other states.

I’d suggest developing a list of schools significantly lower on the prestige ladder - you have next to no chance of getting into any of these schools, unless you have a crazy hook.

I don’t have a hook. These are the lower prestige schools on my list: Alabama, UGA, UW, Penn State, UCF, UF, Baylor.
Should I not apply to any of the reach schools I mentioned?

UGA is a great option. I know a ton of kids from my school going there.
