You can’t just say that you expect to get a 2300+ on the SAT if you haven’t taken it yet. You do understand that a 2300 is in the 98th percentile right? As in better than 98% of everybody taking the test? Can you honestly tell us that you believe you’re in the too 2% of the academic population? I’m sick of people coming in here asking about their chances of getting into certain colleges if they have literally no definite information to offer. Come back when you’ve actually taken the test and can provide useful information so that we don’t have to BS every answer.

But as the above poster mentioned, until you have your scores, anything we tell you is purely speculative and not indicative of any college list analysis.

Also, note that “participated in” here is code for “didn’t win anything at any level”. Considering your extremely high Class X and XI scores, we’d expect

Do come back and post AFTER you have your SAT results. IF they’re 2300 indeed, we’ll be able to help - but add details on EC’s, curriculum (IIT curriculum? IGCSEs results? A Level or IB predicted results?)

Also, all these schools are different; what do you like about them?
The type of person they’re looking for is different: where do you see yourself? Why?

Read at least one of these guides: “Princeton Review’s Best colleges”, “Fiske Guide”, or “Insider’s guide to the colleges”.
You might to purchase and read Steinberg’s The Gatekeepers too.

As an international, for the Top 15 universities and LACs, it’s expected you would be among the best in your country and would have at least one achievement at the national level.

I’m sick and tired of robotic Easterners who just chase colleges because of their prestige. WHAT DOES THE COLLEGE MEAN TO YOU OTHER THAN ITS PRESTIGE? DO you want to go to these schools because of parental pressure? Just ugh… And come back when you have that “2300” SAT score back.

Someone got her feelings hurt. But in all honesty we’re just trying to keep the threads clean. This was a post that will neither help you get the information that you need, nor will it help others perusing the threads get the information that they need. Anything, if at all, we can give you is hypothetical and speculative and has little to no utility.

Why is everyone here being so nasty, this a chance forum which is often filled with annoying teenagers, so please you guys tell me exactly how will actually having a score of 2300 help you better chance her? You would have the same information either way. Also @ranseurs how exactly do you know she just wants to attend a particular school for perstige? And even if she does, this is not necessarily a bad thing, there is a reason you know, for them being prestigious. Do you really think if they were such bad schools they would still be so well known? Also you don’t think getting a job could be possibly easier if you went to a big name school? Your anger sounds like it could possibly be from a confirmation bias, did you not get into the school you wanted? Or do you just like picking on 16 year old Indian girls?

But then the thing is, she already knows the answer. It is low-high reach for all international applicants, especially for Indian applicants(I think she is International Indian applicant by the looks of her ECs/GPA.).

For the record, I’m not being nasty, and I’m trying to be useful. OP is obviously a bright student, so reading the Gatekeepers etc would really help her.
However, saying “I can get a 2300” sounds like boasting, because just one error can lower your score dramatically. It’s impossible to be sure that one will have 750W, 760M (1 error), and 790CR. It’s impossible to predict such a score. The 750W in particular is very difficult to get for an international, regardless of fluency.
2100 is awesome for an international applicant for instance.
How will that help? It’ll help us see if OP is as brilliant in American terms as in her own cultural terms - not a small feat. In addition, OP needs to provide more details about those ECs, is she being modest for example with “participated in”?
Finally, competition among Indian students is really intense. Most want to apply to the same schools so every detail helps.
The OP’s presentation of these schools by their rankings is offputting because top 15 NUs/LACs have such different personalities and vibes. Since, at this level of competition, “fit” is paramount, she needs to read about these schools and choose the best “fit” for her. Because “school personality” is unique to American colleges, OP needs to understand this very quickly so that she can tailor her list to the best fit among Top LACs and Top Universities.
And we haven’t even broached the matter of financial aid.
