<p>So I’m applying to all UC except for UCR and UC Merced</p>

<p>Stats:

  • 3.5 UC GPA (3.77W but UC’s only allow 8 weighted semester credits)
  • Almost all classes are/were AP and Honors
  • 2000+ SAT (Positive about this, getting score soon)
  • Lots of EC’s
  • 200 Hours of Community Service</p>

<p>For my personal statement #1, I’m writing about perseverance in school while dealing with abuse at home. #2 Still working on it.</p>

<p>Notes:

  • Asian
  • California Resident
  • Trying to get away from abusive family so not applying to Merced, and I just don’t want to go to UCR
  • Didn’t take any SAT II, should I sign up for 1? How important is it?</p>

<p>You’re a shoe in for Santa Cruz. I’d say Davis and Santa Barbara as well if you get that 2000+</p>

<p>SAT 2 isn’t required for most UC’s unless you want to project a particular interest. Anyway, how will you pay for tuition if you’re getting away from your family? o-o</p>

<p>I’d say you have a good shot at UCSD with a 2000+</p>
