(And do social justice, and global leadership count in gpa? There counted as social studies credits at my school. And the same with journalism does it count if it’s listed under an english credit in my school’s handbook)

Forget about the AP scores which have very little impact on admission. The self study one would not even contribute to course rigor. You do have a very good SAT score (equivalent to ACT 34) and a strong upward trend in GPA. For UCs, you should calculate your wGPA in their formula. For UMich, your cumulative GPA is below admission average. Can you recalculate your cumulative uwGPA without subgrades? That is the way UMich evaluate your HS GPA.

What to you mean by subgrades. And my UC gpa would only be a 4.0 because they don’t give extra points to oos students for honors courses. But my schools avergae UCLA admit has a 3.73 10-11th grade gpa.

And I’m predicting that my first semester senior grades will be around a 3.94

No subgrades means all As (including A+ and A-) are 4, all B (including B+ or B-) are 3, and likewise for C (2.0) and D (1.0). Then calculate your grade point average with that.

Then your cumulative uwGPA is low for UMich as of now even with a good upward trend. If you do get 4.0 in your senior first semester, then you may bring your GPA to within the mid 50 range.

Berkeley and UCLA are going to be reaches. UC weighted GPA for OOS will be low since only AP/IB/DE courses get the GPA weighting.

Leadership/social justice will not count as an academic course.
