French Language SAT: 720
Did NOT receive a supplement</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:

  1. Editor-in-chief of the yearbook
  2. Editor-in-chief of the school newspaper
  3. President of Yearbook Club
  4. Freshman Leader (2 years)
  5. Member of academic quiz bowl team that has competed at state every year I’ve participated
  6. Over 500 hours of volunteering, including tutoring underprivileged kids at an elementary school, an internship at a charity that provides support to kids affected by AIDS (almost 400 hours here alone), helping at a food bank, working with a church to raise money for homeless in the area through a yearly auction, and working as president of a group that raises money for the local Children’s Hospital</p>

<p>AP Tests taken:
ENGLISH LANG AND COMP: 5
APUSH: 4</p>

<p>Essays: Was told that one was amazing and have no idea as far as the second goes, though I poured my heart out and wrote about my experience at the internship described above.</p>

<p>And I’m not entirely sure if I calculated that weighted GPA correctly. Some of my classes were college-in-the-high-school but when I calculated this I just weighted them as if they were core classes.</p>

<p>Thanks to anyone who wades through this swamp of information! I’m way too nervous and getting a little antsy.</p>

<p>Ya you’ll definitely get into at least one. I know someone who had really good extracurriculars, a 3.8/4.2 GPA, got a 1450 SAT score, is hispanic, and got into UCLA and UCB. But then again our valedictorian didn’t get in. UCB is hard to predict. UCLA-99.9% chance, UCB~60%.</p>

<p>You look really strong for both. I’d agree with the OP–both are matches, and you ARE from Idaho, and the Midwest is underrepresented in the app pool, so you have a GREAT chance. </p>

<p>Thanks! I guess I’ll have to wait and see what happens. I find it odd that I didn’t receive a supplement though - but maybe that’s a good thing? Sure hope so! Crossing my fingers.</p>
