Statistics (5), Chinese (3), Calc BC (5), Chemistry (5), Psychology (5), Literature, Physics 1, Biology
ACT: 35, 9 writing
SATII: Bio (780) Chem (770) Math II (800)
Class rank: N/A

ECs:
Research at top medical school (>900hrs, worked on some independent projects)
Volunteer at Statistics without Borders (online statistics pro bono group, helped out on several projects)
Cross country (JV, all 4 years)

Rec letters probably OK, Essays probably pretty good

Applying to:
ED Duke
Brown
Stanford
Dartmouth
Hopkins
WashU
All UCs (in-state)

I think my application looks decent/pretty good, but I really would like some other opinions! Is there anything I should have done sooner? Anything I can do now? Thanks guys!

What’s your UC gpa (capped/uncapped+weighted)? If it is what you listed on there, then you should be fine.

UC GPA is 4.14
Mainly I’m aiming for the private schools, with UCs as a lower priority
Out of the UCs, I like UCLA the most.

@panicatcollege with a UC gpa like that (reminder that UCLA looks at uncapped+weighted so give all the extra points you need for UC-approved honors and AP courses) you should be fine for UCLA.

As far as UC’s go…
Berkeley is probably 50/50
UCLA & SD are pretty good chances
Davis, Santa Barbara, Irvine you should be really solid for
if you don’t get into Santa Cruz, Riverside & Merced, then I’ll burn a $20 bill
