Regardless, I think that your chances are very good based on what you have posted. I am not sure whether it quite counts as a “safety”, but it is no worse than a solid match.

How much would raising my sat score by 50 points or so impact my chances
not much due to fact that you stats wont be high enough for honors but your still in either way…
Am i correct in thinking that because its a state school and because my stats arent terribly lacking in some way, that the lack of ECs wont matter too much?
Most state schools look at EC’s very little look at penn state they don’t look at EC’s at all just 2/3 GPA 1/3 Essay/Sat/and anything a little spectacular if you did something such as being a president of the club and showing leadership then it would help you greatly but just being in a bunch of clubs do not matter.
