Chance me for University of Clemson and University of Oklahoma please!

So Clemson is my number one right now and Oklahoma is second or third on my list. I am a senior.

GPA is weighted 3.8 Unweighted 3.5
SAT math 560 reading 550
Im not sure my class rank but I think it is around top 15%
Will have taken 7 Ap classes by the time I graduate, very rigorous schedule especially senior year my first semester has 3 AP classes. On top of this I am a member of the baseball team and was on the mountain biking team during fresh and soph years. I also am a member of the garden club, have a job at a golf course and volunteer often at my church feeding the homeless. In my free time I enjoy running, I ran the SF marathon in summer of 2015. I am from California OOS

I know my scores are low but I have only taken the test one time and am taking it 2 more times so I am aiming for a score close to or above 1200

I am going to be applying for civil engineering so do I need to submit subject tests? Would that increase my chances?

Please share any tips you guys have that will increase my chances. I really want to get into Clemson. Thanks!

Engineering is the most competive program for admission at Clemson. They admit into the program, not just the Univeristy. Clemson stresses GPA, rank and test scores. I would suggest retaking your tests ASAP. You may want to look at the waitlist thread for Clemson in the University thread on this website to see how you measure up to others who have been waitlisted.

Have you even applied to Clemson yet? Applications went live on August 1 and they give preference on housing by application date.

You should run the net price calculator to estimate cost of attendance. With current statistics , you most likely will not qualify for any merit scholarships.
