Chance me for USC

I am a high school senior applying for fall 2013 in all the above colleges, I want to know where I stand and my chances of getting in.

I am applying as an international student but I have attended high school in a private US high.school. I am french and have lived 10 years in the USA.

GPA: UW: 4.0 W: 4.76
SAT: Math: 800 Reading: 550 Writing: 580
Only As and Bs mostly honors
AP Spanish:3
AP chemistry:5
AP French this year.
Subject tests
Math 1:760
Chemistry:730
Spanish:630

About 300 hours of community service hours, national honor society.

I want to apply to earn a degree in architecture, I won the gold key for the scholastics art and writting competition.

Extracuricculars:
Surfing for 6 years
Airbrushing for 2 years
3 week architecture internship last summer
I work at a carpentry workshop 6 hours a week.

As an international student your reading and writing scores could be analyzed as weak english abilities. Spanish 630 is a pretty low score but SAT2s are weighted less than others. AP scores are not considered for the most part, but the 3 in Spanish is another mark.
Also I don’t get how you can have a 4.0 unweighted but have Bs - if your scale is a 4.0 a 4.0 means you have all As.

The gold key, carpentry, archiecture, airbrushing aspects are fantastic to your intended major - you should emphasize that heavily in your application via essays, or external recommendation if you want a shot, simply because your W/R SAT sections are too low.

As a comparison, look at USC’s scores
SAT Critical Reading: 610 / 720
SAT Math: 670 / 770
SAT Writing: 650 / 740
which means that your writing/reading scores are below the 25th percentile for USC admits, making your odds very low in this regard.
You still have a few SAT’s left before college apps begin - I’d highly recommend aiming for 700+ on R/W on SAT, and/or try out the ACT.

The Gpa at my highschool is weighted differently, on the 4.0 scale my gpa is about 3.8.
I took the sat today, I am hoping to have done a little better on the reading and writing section.
My ACT
combined 29
english 27
math 31
reading 26
science 31
writing 4
english and writing 22

Let’s see:

I would definitely agree on pushing up the SAT. Somewhere around 2200 would be a good score for USC. Your GPA looks great too. Just think of a good essay topic and your ECs look good.
