There is absolutely nothing ‘odd’ for any student to be taking and submitting an ACT score from NoVa. Most savvy students looking to optimize their best chances are now trying both test formats to see which format best suits them. UVa does not prefer one format over the other.</p>

One format does not give the student an advantage of the other. Simply take/send the test that you score statistically higher on. UVa is actually full of an entire department of professionals that do this full time (Admissions), and know how to compare the two test formats against each other. I know, shocking!</p>
<p>I’m going to post my usually disclaimer here that I’m not a fan of chances posts, but an even bigger frustration is blatant incorrect information being perpetuated.</p>
