I have a slight upward trend, and I’m looking to pick it up a little bit more senior year. Basically I didn’t know of the difference between an A- and an A, so I never put in the effort to get an actual A until junior year. Very immature, I was a sophomore in the Greekest sense of the word.
Coursework: I’ll have taken 10 AP’s by the time I graduate and all the available honors class routes except for english sophomore year.
5’s on World History, APUSH, Calc BC, and Physics 1
4 on English language.
Senior course load:
AP Physics 2, Multivariable Calc, AP English Lit, AP Stats, AP Micro, AP Macro (Micro/Macro as semester courses, Computer Science (our school doesn’t offer AP, but it’s a year long class that is considered a core class at our school for senior year)
Awards: None ):
Extracurriculars: Competitive Tennis, I played #1 as captain for our school team and won our state championship last year. Varsity all of highschool.
JV basketball freshman year
Co-founder of our schools Squash club which flopped due to lack of interest and the fact that you had to pay to play
Math Team all of highschool, I might be captain next year, but I never really accomplished anything at meets.
Student council class VP Sophomore/Junior Year. Senior year I will be on student council and I will try to run for student body president, but I will most likely not win.
Piano lessons for 7 years
A couple volunteering hours, but very little maybe around 30ish.
Summer part time job, and I worked a couple weekends during the school year.
I like to play with yoyos. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ9D-7nxAsY] Here’s a vid. This is probably my biggest “hook” because of the obscurity and randomness. I recently started competing, but have only been to one competition and did not so great since it was my first time.
Schools:
Vanderbilt (possibly ED?)
Duke
Brown
UC Berkeley (Reminder that I’m out of state)
UCLA
These are all reaches, but I just want to know my odds. I have Clemson as an in state safety, but ಠ_ಠ I’m tired of South Carolina lol.
