I’m a HS sophomore, so I’m estimating my GPA at the end of junior year and SAT scores (they’re predictable though so I’d say they’re roughly accurate):
GPA: 3.5 UW, 4.2
SAT: Math 600, Reading and Writing 730 (about 2000 composite on current)
APs: World, Euro, Psych, Literature and Comp, Language and Comp, French
ECs:
Irish dance
4-H
French club
Writing Club
Service Club
Future Educators of America
Service Hours: 100+
You have an ok chance, aim for at least a 1350 on SATs
If you’re only a sophomore I would definitely try to get that UW GPA up by the first semester of your senior year. Next year make sure you get only get one or two Bs or B+s. Your SAT is good for a sophomore but it’d be useful to get it up to 1350 as daverans said. If you’re a Virginian, I would say that would be all that is necessary as long as you get one or two leadership positions in some of those excellent ECs. If you’re not a Virginian, it might be a lot harder for you and you’d want to get straight A’s and an SAT of 1400 or above.
