Chance me? (Georgetown, Emory)

Hi Everyone
I’m new to this whole thing so pardon my lack of knowledge of the lingo (:

I’m a rising Senior and my dream schools are Georgetown and Emory. I’m a girl, white, and am in the top 10% of a nationally ranked public high school in MA (my school doesn’t rank so this is a total guess. There are 450 people in my class.). I want to major in PoliSci and minor in dance before going to Law School.

GPA: 3.8 unw
SAT: 2080 (730 CR, 670 M, 680 W)
ACT: tbd but I’m aiming for at least a 30
My school doesn’t offer many APs, so I’m only taking two: 5 on both APUS and APEuro
Sat IIs: USH 750, Bio 700, Lit 720
I’m going to have some really good recs from two teachers and a guidance counselor

Extras:
Varsity Diving Freshman/Soph years
Captain of my school dance team
i’m heavily active in dance outside of school
I’m a Junior Mentor (aka I teach freshmen about the high school. leadership position)
Studied abroad in Mexico
Teach at a summer camp every summer
200+ hours of community service per year

Hopefully I’m not missing any super important information
Thanks so much(:

I think you are a decent candidate. I would recommend perhaps taking the sat one more time, accprding to it’s website its average Average SAT Verbal Score: 665, Average SAT Math Score: 710, and Average SAT Writing Score: 685, which is 175 higher than the average for all Colleges and Universities. You want at the minimum to be above the 50th percentile so you are competitive compared to the rest of the applicants. I also think consistency is also important, was there a reason you quit swimming last year? Were you involved in those other ECs consistently? ect. Otherwise, you seem to have a good shot.
