Chance me? GPA system changed!

This year my school decided to change our GPA system. We used to do…
A-4 B-3 C-2 and so on.
However, it has been changed to the system most colleges use. A-4 A- 3.67…
This completely screwed us over because it was also retroactive so most of our 4.0s aren’t 4.0s anymore. It has also altered the class rank. I don’t know my class rank as of now but it should be among the top 10-15% in a class of 840 students.
I calculated my UWGPA with my freshman and sophomore scores combined and I received a 3.85. Note- this includes classes like PE.
Do you colleges like UCLA will be considerate considering that we were informed of this at the beginning of junior year or am I just completely screwed?

I don’t think it matters. The admission will understand that different school uses different grading systems, that’s why they convert the grades and gpa you received into UC GPA. I do not believe classes like PE are considered when looking at GPA though.

Also, you should have a good chance as long as you’re in the top 10% of your graduating class. They compare you to rest of your class and classes from nearby schools I believe. that is not to say that GPA and test scores aren’t important, though.
