I would say you have a strong chance under ED 1, however, applying ED decreases your chances at merit and aid. Also, GWU has always been test optional, so you don’t have to submit any test scores, it would look better to submit strong ones, however, you don’t have to. Also, make sure to get to know admissions and demonstrate interest. I am confident that you will get in!
Follow their social media accounts. Register to watch all the 200 anniversary stuff. do virtual tours.
If you are applying ED then your chances are pretty good. They have a very high acceptance rate from ED. But be prepared to pay if the NPC says you can afford it.
Yeah, follow, like, comment on instas, sign up for events, and make sure to take a tour! Talk to your admission counselor about the school and find out more information!
HI! I was accepted through ED1 this year. I would say you have a pretty comparable resume and stats as I do. I had a C+ sophomore year that I was worried about but it didn’t end up being a problem. Like a few other people have said, I would highly recommend you apply under ED1 if that is an option for you. IR is a super popular major so it would be better to apply early than in the regular decision pool. GW has also been test optional for 5 years already and if I am being honest I would recommend you apply without scores if you can’t improve that score a lot. I applied with no test scores and it didn’t end up affecting me. Having those strong AP scores also helps. You also have to have a strong essay and make sure you do the “optional” supplemental essay as well.
