<p>This is overdue but here you are:</p>
<p>Harvard (in, pretty well-rounded applicant with insane SAT score); CMU CS (in, girl in CS always flies); HMC (reject, they tend to accept a bunch of guys); Berkeley + UC’s (in, why even bother to ask); Stanford (in, if you emphasize your national flute awards. Plus 2390/2400 has 40% acceptance rate off the bat at Stanford); Princeton (waitlist --> reject, because of fit issues, they are looking more for mathematics majors historically plus they’re weird in general); UPenn (in, SEAS isn’t very competitive especially for someone like you plus legacy is literally the biggest bump you can have there); Duke (waitlist, again, fit issues, they are such a white school); MIT (in, if you can emphasize the CS work you’ve done); other schools (in, won’t bother with explanations, some might even reject for overqualifiedness)</p>
