If your ACT score turns out well, you have an excellent if you are ranked among the top several students in your class (you haven’t responded to my question yet).

Your in-depth interest in biology is really impressive. Only thing that kind of might work against you is your lack of AP’s before senior yr (But it won’t if those were only the available AP’s). I believe you have a good chance!

@labfreak, my app was similar to what yours might be (I’m an Hispanic female) … with a few differences. I learned (fluent) French, since most colleges will not give an Hispanic much “credit” for Spanish. Also, my school did not officially “rank”, however, on my transcript it is clearly included. I was 2 of 650. My school was the flagship Sci/Tech magnet for my county.

Op- Coming from the northeast, you will have a lot of other well-qualified Hispanic applicants, so i would not agree with the optimisic projection of 85% chances.

However, your profile looks solid, assuming you meet your projected scores.
