A nasty chronic anxiety disorder has kept me out of a lot of sports, luckily hasn’t really affected my social life adversely, planning on writing the essay on it as a growing experience.</p>

<p>There have been a number of threads on various CC forums debating whether a student should write his essay about a problem like yours. I would read these discussions before deciding on that essay topic.</p>

<p>I think you have a decent chance providing you illuminate your very interesting personality in your essays.</p>

<p>Sounds like you have a better shot than most, and a fine essay topic lined up already. If you’re that embarrassed about your SAT score, just don’t send it in. Your ACT score’s perfectly acceptable, so just use that.</p>
