CHANCE ME AT: Indiana Bloomington / Loyola Chicago
I am a high school junior in Brookfield WI. I am looking into further studies in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, or Environmental Science at universities across the midwest. Indiana and Loyola are my top two at the moment. I was wondering, what my chances of being accepted? And how or what should I do to make those chances better?
GPA: 3.71/4.00 (Weighted) 3.57/4.00 (Unweighted)
ACT: 24 (25 Math, 24, English, 22 Reading, 24 Science)
I want to take the ACT again in June or July but am worried about cancellations due to the coronavirus. I want to get my score to a 27 or higher.
AP: Statistics (not taken the exam yet), Environmental Science (3), Biology (not taken the exam yet), European History (2), Seminar (not taken the exam yet)
Next year, my senior year, I will be retaking AP Environmental Science because that is something I want to study further in college and I want a better score on the exam. However, if this looks bad for college apps please let me know, I still have time to change my schedule.
OTHER: I have also taken Spanish 5 which is a weighted/college-level course. During my senior year, I will be taking a program offered in my school district called Launch. I will be taking the biomedical solutions/interventions strand where I am eligible to earn 2 college credits through DEA. Lastly, I have earned a certificate for taking Yale Universities ¨The Science of Well-Being¨ online class through the website Coursera.

*Something unique I have done is establish the city of Brookfield WI as Sunrise Movement Hub with a few other teenagers. The sunrise movement is an American youth-led political movement coordinated, a 501 political action organization that advocates political action on climate change. Hubs help do lots of important work for the movement.
WORK BACKGROUND:

Care Age of Brookfield Assisted Living (August 2019 - June 2020)
Indiana is my dream school! But I am just worried that I will not have time to improve my ACT score in time due to the coronavirus. I’m aware that those scores are not the only thing getting me into college. I plan to study Environmental Science, Microbiology, Evolutionary or Ecological Biology, or General Biology. I am just curious about my chances of getting into a science program at Indiana or Loyola. I am the first in my family to be going through this college application process, so it a little scary. I would appreciate the advice, thank you!
