I know I’m a looooong shot. Should I even bother applying?

i say apply right a killer essay and hope for the best…

Sunflower, this is the second time you’ve posted your stats on the Yale page. To me, this means that you really want encouragement to apply. My answer on your chances is the same as it was last time. I think you really want to apply, so you should.

REJECT. /you’re not going to harvard/

Well, the Yale supplement is not particularly hard to do, so it’s just a bit of time plus the price of the application. Since you are so interested in Yale, I think you will regret it in the future if you didn’t apply. They really might not look at a CD with pictures of the Asian dolls, but maybe you could send in an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet with 4 or 6 color photos of them as a supplemental piece. The ACT score of 32 is in the top 1%, right?, and the Asian ball jointed doll project is unique. As Sheed30 said, write a great essay. Also, have great letters of recommendations. It is hard to know who they will accept. Give it a try.

Thank you!

AdmissionsAddict: Not really-- I’ve been getting a lot of nudges to try applying, but I’m really not sure if I want to unless I’ve gotten some feedback; hee, I’m a little too proud to ask for it anywhere but from strangers online. blush
