Low income family (dad lost job)
Super small school (about 200 highschool students) Barely any oppurtunities
I have no guidence councilor lol

(Also graduating in 11th grade, early graduate)

Recommendation letters ( i have about 6 or 7. My school is small and we have repeat teachers for different subjects. Like my bio teacher is also my geometry teacher. My Technolgy teacher is also my algebra 1 and 2 teacher… etc)

Essay: I wrote about the time i went to Yemen (parents foreign country) for 2 years and i saw little girls getting married at 12,14,15 years old and stuff about the education system which made me realize the importance of education. also indirectly states why i got a 3.85 gpa (cause of 9th grade, i was still getting used to the curriculum but my grades were improving dramatically)

I most likely will transfer to another highschool since my school only has up until 11th grade. In 12th grade ill definetly add more AP classes and Extracurricalr/volunteering

I NEED HONEST OPINIONS.

Ivies are long shots for everyone. In your case, with lower SAT and GPA, perhaps an even longer shot. Also read in other threads that most colleges don’t prefer young students. From your post, it is unclear if you are applying now or if you have another year to go. If you have another year, improve your GPA, SAT, and ECs.

Your scores and GPA aren’t tip top so take the reaches off of your list.

Take the UCs off of your list. These are California public schools. They do not fund OOS residents. Your cost to attend would be $55K per year and it doesn’t sound like your family would be able to afford that.

Find some instate safeties that will grant you some aid. You’re in NYC and the state tends to take care of its own.
If not, find some schools that like your stats and will fund you.
Good luck!

Yeah, I know, I wasnt planning on going. Just wanted to see the chances.

Im def going to 12th grade now that i here that
