Thank you in advance for your input. I’m very interested in Economics (Central Banking) & International Relations, but my official background is in engineering. I want to know what kind of school I could get into in Europe/US. I’ve always went to the best schools in Montreal, but engineering has been a challenge for me. I want a realiastic answer since right now I feel like I can’t get into anything.
Born in Bulgaria, live in Montreal for 18 years now (dual citizenship).
Languages: Fluent = English, French, Bulgarian. Currently studying = Spanish (~B1), Russian (~B1)
Engineering Student (Software/Computer) + Minor in Economics @ McGill-Montreal. Just finish my 3rd year:
GPA: 1st year = 2.50, 2nd year = 3.12, 3rd year = 2.99; Total = 2.84
I have about 54 credits left to finish my degree: 1.5 year to get my GPA as close as possible to 3.0
Will pass CFA Level 1 before the end of my degree + GMAT and/or GREs. I usually score very well on standardize tests
Internships:
1st year: Software Dev. at Personal Loans Fintech (Bulgaria)
2nd year: Software Dev. Commodities Hedge Fund (Canada)
3rd year: Software Dev. at Major Canadian Bank’s trading floor (Canada)
