I would beg to differ. Our Southern California child who got into all the UC’s, USC, Yale, chose University of Buffalo. Her original intent was to become a physician; she ended up liking the engineering component and switched major. She double majored in electrical engineering and computer software. She came back to Southern California and now is a manager of an engineering department for an international firm.
My husband is a Stanford engineering grad and he was impressed with Buffalo’s program. The school is vastly underrated but it’s becoming a powerhouse by reputation of its graduates. You know that’s what built the UC’s, the graduates/staff.
