I am really anxious that I wouldn’t get into NYU since my stats is a bit weak.
I’m a Chinese national who spent all four years of high school in the U.S.
SAT: reading and writing: 650 math: 700 I’m going to retake the test and see if it would go up.
Weighted GPA: 3.89 (it’ll go up this semester. I went through the loss of an important family member my sophomore year as well as a transfer of high school, my grade went from an unweighted 4.0 to a weighted 3.7)
I’ve interned for a commercial bank as well as the IBD for a security company. I also had a car dealing business during my junior and senior year.
I believe i have a well written essay.
I understand that my chance isn’t that promising so I applied for the liberal study program(with probably the highest acceptance rate), Gallatin (My favorite program tho I didn’t put it as my first choice considering the competitive nature of this program), and CAS.
Thank u all in advance for helping me. I am worried as hell because getting into NYU has been a goal for me ever since junior high.
Btw I’m not applying for any financial aid and my super score for sat is 1400.
