First off, I’m actually only a freshman in highschool, but would like to see how I am doing and what I need to do in order to get into NYU in the future.
-Unweighted GPA:4.0
-In all honors classes
-Soccer (both school and club team) president and co-founder of democrat club, part of a group in which each individual does a 4 year service project
-Background: 50% Turkish, born and lived 4 years in Istanbul, 8 years in California, now 2nd year in Alabama, fluent in English and Turkish
Assuming I get good SAT and ACT scores and take AP classes and all that, will I have a good chance of getting in to NYU? Will I have to pick up a few more extra curriculars?
Thanks for your time

What do you expect people to say? Sure, if we assume your grades for the next four years are good and your ACT’s are good then ya you have a chance. Why even ask as a freshman?

I second what the person above me said, but I would also like to add that you should get some volunteering experience.

Check around to see if your area has a Teen Court or Homeless Shelter that you can help at; its good for apps and your soul!
Or if you have a job, it can be a volunteering replacement :)
