BU no longer tracks legacy.

I think you’d need to ED to have a chance.

Where you stand out is creating a successful digital studio - very impressive.

ASU (safety), Denver, and UC (likelies) make the rest of your list immaterial - meaning if you’re happy to attend one of them, then your list is fine - because you have an assured school to go to.

U Washington might be possible for you as they are test blind (except in marginal cases).

Best of luck.

Make sure to meet the EA deadline at Ohio State and if you are accepted into honors you’ll receive an invitation to apply to their IBE program.

Also apply for their large merit scholarships (Stamps Eminence & Morrill) which require supplemental applications.

Yeah I have heard about them not counting legacy… do you think it’s fair to say my chances are slim for USC?

Thanks for the response!

I’m not an AO - but I would say slim.

I haven’t seen this year’s CDS but I imagine, it will have more test takers than last year which was 50%.

I think having a test is important - but guess what, it doesn’t matter what I say.

It matters what USC says - so you try.

If they say no - that’s why you have UC, ASU, and DU!!

yes, USC had a 4% RD acceptance rate this year. EA is probably a bit higher; but even for a test submitter chances are very slim.

Yeah definitely not getting in haha, hoping I have some chance at BU! Wish I was a good test taker…

You never know! You have strong ECs. I don’t know about where you’re from, but if you came from my school- you would have a good shot at BU- we had a girl get in ED1 with a B+/A- average. Don’t know if she submitted tests though. She took AP classes, but not outstanding ones (she took psych, apush, the ones that most people take). She was very involved with clubs, but nothing special in particular….full pay, which I’m not sure how much that helps at BU. Your chances at BU are a crapshoot (everyone’s are) but I would not be surprised if you got in.

A good test will help, but focus on crafting essays that highlight who you are and you will land some great acceptances.

You aren’t if you don’t apply.

So apply, write great essays, get great recommendations - and you never know.

Frankly, someone who has developed a successful business like you - BU or ASU isn’t going to make a difference.

You simply need to hone the brilliance you already have to be more efficient and effective.

Any school will be lucky to have someone with your insights!!

I live by Cincinnati, Id say average 4-5 apply to BU, but I dont think any apply ED ever. Thanks for the insight!

As long as you have a guaranteed safety that is affordable (i think you do) apply wherever you want (assuming your parents are okay with it). I think you might be pleasantly surprised. You are a well accomplished student and I trust no matter where you go- you will succeed. But BU seems to be your dream school, so apply ED1 assuming finances work, write killer essays, and you’re a very competitive applicant. If it’s not BU, it’s some other great school.
