<p>I can only speak for VT, but is there any way you could retake the SAT (or take the ACT) in time to get them considered? Your EC’s look great and your GPA is definately good enough, but your SAT is bringing it down a bit… if you could get it up to a Math/CR 1200 (you have a 1070 right now, so it’s doable with studying) your chances would go up a lot.</p>

<p>edit: Also, VT superscores, so you can take your best reading and best math score combined to give them as your score. Just food for thought.</p>

<p>i have taken my ACT and it’s a 24 right now, but I intend on taking it again in september. Right now I’m in another SAT prep course so that I can do better on the SAT, hopefully it works</p>

<p>If you get your SAT score up I’d say VT is a match. You’ll be smack dab in the middle of their admissions with a 1200, and being in-state and with great ECs you’d probably get in. If you don’t get it up, though, I’d say it’s a bit of a reach. You still could get in, many do with those stats, but your odds increase signifigantly with a 1200.</p>

<p>I agree with the other posters, get those sat’s up a little and you could have a good chance at VT, and at the other schools too</p>
