ECs: band, jazz band, theater, music honor society, german club, 2 rock climbing teams (captain of 1), a summer job or 2, may get accepted to a german exchange program
PSAT (w/ no prep): 1350
Thinking of majoring in chemistry or a related field

Any suggestions on other schools to look at or ways to boost my application would be highly appreciated

Come back when u have a SAT score, your application to UVA, BU, MIT, and Tufts would be largely dependent on it.
Bates is test optional and your gpa is in the range.
MIT is a reach for everyone, you need a way to distinguish yourself from other applicants to get accepted
