I’m trying to transfer undergraduate schools, I’ll list my strengths and weaknesses. Please tell me if you feel I’m a strong enough candidate or how I could strengthen my application! (I would appreciate if you told me you were a student, parent, or even alum!)
Strengths:
3.8 GPA after 3 semesters at the College of Wooster
1480/1600 on New SAT
2030/2400 Old SAT
32/36 ACT
Co-founder and VP of First Generation Student Organization (ironically, I myself am NOT a first-gen student)
Digital Editor for College paper
President of A Capella Group
Weaknesses:
3.5 High School GPA (I’m actually proud of this, but it is well below the expected GPA of the schools I will apply to)
0 SAT Subject tests
0 Natural science courses taken during my college matriculation
I am applying to transfer as a sociology major to the following schools:
Georgetown University (#1 choice)
Northwestern University
Wesleyan University
Connecticut College
