Hi all,

Wondering about my chances at Pitt, Penn State, WFU, New College of Florida, UVA, Syracuse, Richmond, Skidmore, & Tulane

-White female from California (San Francisco)
-Cost shouldn’t be much of a problem (not sure, parents won’t say)
-Attending a well known, audition based school for the arts in theatre for four years **I do not want to major in theatre)

GPA: 3.8uw/4.3w
ACT: 34
Max. APs taken, almost all As

ECs:
4 years of intensive theatre in school
Named a National Arts Scholar for attending CSSA
3 years mock trial
7 years of music (flute and saxophone)
A few Outward Bound courses
Lots of volunteering at UCSF hospital & Academy of Sciences

I would think Penn State and U of R if you don’t need a lot of aid. UVA is a toss up because in state with the same stats don’t get in. I’m not saying not to try. I have no idea about the rest. Are you a senior nervously waiting for results or a junior? My best advice is to google the latest Common Data Sets for each school and see if they are need aware and what stats admitted students have.
