My grandmother also worked at GW but she is retired now. She’s the Elmer Louis Kayser Professor Emeritus of History as well so I’m going to mention this and hope this gives me a leg up.

So… What do you think?

Is GW your first choice? I think you have a good shot at ED, but I’m not so sure about RD. I got in with very similar stats two years, but I was an ED applicant.

If you can bump up your SAT score just a little bit, try to break 1900, shoot for 1950, then I think you have an excellent chance ED and a pretty good chance RD. I’m not sure what a 4.75/6.00 equates to, but I’d wager its about a 79%…which isn’t great, thats about a B-/C+ average. That will definitely hurt. If you’re going to apply, apply ED and you’ll have a better chance. RD, I’d say you have a fairly good shot, probably 65-75%

I haven’t got my SAT scores from October (I dunno why, I should’ve by now) but I was shooting to break 1900. Should I submit my SAT IIs as well? I got 530 on Chemisty and 570 on Math 1. I may apply ED, but I’m not sure. GW and Smith College are my first choices at the moment so I’ll consider ED.
