Chance me please? I'm pretty nervous.

SATs- 1970

540 Math
710 Writing
720 Reading
1260 not counting Writing :(

3.49 Unwieghted :(
4.49 Weighted

My GPA's low because I didn't take school seriously the first two years, but my grades have been great since then (All A's and one B counting last year and this current semester). I also explained how sports helped me be determined and everything in one of my essays.

Took AP Bio and AP Spanish last year. This year I'm taking AP Psych, AP Computer Science, and AP English. My school doesn't do any 'honor's' classes but most of the classes I've taken have been high-level in my opinion.

My school doesn't rank, but I know I'm in the top 50% of students.

Varsity Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track
Academic Team
Won 100 hour Presidential service award
Worked in a pain management office this past summer (I want to major in Bio then do something medical)
Currently considered for local newspaper's Athlete of the year for cross country
Won coach's award twice for XC
Minds in Motion award all seasons
Went to XC camp this past summer (I don't think I put that on there though)

I think my rec's and essay were pretty good. I'm also a white female if that matters at all.

I'm in-state and applied by the early application deadline. I might be forgetting something but I think that's it.

Oh, right- I took the SAT II's also.

English Literature - 640
Molecular Biology - 660

My intended major is Biology and I'll probably minor in Chinese.
Also, if it matters I've been accepted to UMBC, and Coastal Carolina's honors college.

It probably depends on your school. I would talk to the guidance/college counselor to see what type of kids have been admitted before from your school. Maryland does not send early letters of acceptance. That is mostly to be considered for scholarships. I think UMCP was one of the last schools my daughter heard from when she was applying.
