Chance me please? Much appreciated...

I said I would never do this…but I’ve started obsessing all my time away on these boards…

F
White
New York City
Private High School

GPA = 3.7ish. School does not have a formal GPA count/does not weight
Class Rank = school does not rank…probably pretty high though.
SAT Scores = 2200 comb. 640 Math, 760 Reading, 800 Writing
ACT Scores: 30 (34 English, 36 Reading, 26 Science, 23 Math–i know, they’re really lopsided. only sent them in to safeties though.)
Courseload = AP World, AP English, French Honors Lit. School does not offer APs before Junior year and it is impossible to take more than 4 total
ECs and Volunteer hrs = very involved in acting and directing, directing Senior Theater Project, co-president gay-straight-alliance, human rights activist (fundraising, hosting events, lobbying DC, marching, public speaking, etc), professional website manager, award-winning writer, peer leadership

Essay: the one on my common app is offbeat and informal…i love it and i think it shows a great side of me. on my usc app though, i wrote an extremely personal and potentially controversial essay. it’ll either completely ruin my chances or get me in.
Recs: i’m very confident about them.

other random stuff:
lived in paris as a kid, so i’m fluent in french

schools:
Tulane (accepted w/significant scholarship)
USC (top choice, interviewed… My USC interviewer told me that she was very impressed with me and mentioned that I have a good shot at a scholarship…but she could also be crazy.)
UMiami
Duke (interviewed)
Northwestern
Emory
WashU in St Louis

USC - match
UMiami - strong match
The rest - with your stats they are all the same. People with your stats get in sometimes, sometimes don’t. You are right on the edge because of the “crapshoot” nature of the process. Probably a little better chance at Emory and NW.
