<p>No, but, what are you interested in? That was the most important part of Techno’s suggestions. What academic subjects do you like? Why do you spend so much time volunteering, and why those causes rather than others? You must be able to be articulate those reasons, and articulate them well, to have a snowball’s chance of getting in. Our admissions office is not looking for accomplishments and resumes. It’s looking for people, people who have accomplished things because they wouldn’t feel as happy if they weren’t making a difference for the poor children of the world, or curing cancer, or studying the frontiers of mathematical knowledge. If you can’t explain what excites you about whatever it is that does so, there’s very little chance that the admissions officers will be able to understand anyway.</p>
