thank you!

Your scores are alright and your ECs are amazing! Your grades are a bit low, not unreasonable though, but your AP scores may be a cause for concern. I'm not entirely sure how AP scores factor into admissions, considering they are self-reported. Those scores make your GPA look inflated, which might be a problem. Nonetheless, you are a competitive applicant but Penn is a crapshoot especially in RD. You've got a chance, just not a great one.

AP scores may be initially self-reported, but when I went to Penn, they gave credit for 4s in some cases, and 5s in all cases. So eventually they will be officially reported (you do have to take a more advanced class to make up for the one you place out of).

I would worry about mostly 3 and 4 scores on the AP exams, but yes, the ECs are very very good, probably top 5% of candidates - sports - NASA - etc.

And all applicants should understand RD is definitely a crapshoot, because they get so many applicants that they may not be able to look at each application thoroughly.
