<p>Personal: 1st generation college student, moved to the US when I was 6 from Mexico, no father present, live in a town with 28% unemployment. </p>

<p>I know it’s a long shot but my absolute dream school is UCLA. Also looking into: UCI, UCSD, Point Loma, etc.</p>

but retake the SAT…try to get at least above 2000. You have good ECs, make sure to write good essays and you’ll have a decent chance :slight_smile:

<p>I feel you could have a decent chance if you raise your test scores (this is important). Remember to keep pursuing your interests even throughout senior year and keep those grades up. You probably have a very interesting story so do yourself a favor and try to incorporate a bit of it in your essay. Best of luck!</p>
