<p>hi everyone, i’m thinking about a LOT of schools, and i rly need to cut down the list.
just wanted your opinion on which schools would be a best fit (private and liberal arts)!</p>

<p>BRIEF RUNDOWN
GPA: 3.9 (4.8 UW), 8 APs
ACT: 33</p>

<p>EC: -Chicago Youth Concert Orchestra (5yrs)
-Academic Decathlon (3yrs, w/ 1 award at state level, 4 at city level)
-school NASA research team (2yrs, will present research w/3 others there, but in january)</p>

<p>-leadership in service work, mainly health-oriented: Mikva (met w/ CPS officer)
-Asian Health Coalition: 2 PSA’s, mural project, student speaker at event</p>

<p>teacher recs should be good, honestly am nervous about my counselor one, thinking about sending a supplemental rec from service work supervisor, which should be a great one.</p>

<p>Assuming your essays and recommendations are strong there are basically no schools that are not within your range. Your stats are great, the only thing I see that is not so great is that you lack community service. Unless you are looking at some school like Harvard they should not be too unrealistic, cut down your list based on what schools you feel fit you best.</p>
