Chance me please ~~~

Hi Everyone, this is my first post here. I am a Chinese American girl, so ,sorry about the bad grammar.

As a quick background, my undergraduate majors were both Environmental Science and English (I studied in China). However, I have a great passion for mathematics, especially probability. My dream future career is as an actuary.

GRE, 490V, 750Q, 3 writing- really bad at writing :frowning: I can’t help
GPA in environmental science major 2.9–but already ranked No.5th in my class, highest GPA in my class is 3.2

GPA in English major 3.2( I attend two different schools in China, two bachelor’s degree)

have published two sci articles

nothing else too much,…so , I am thinking about applying to UC Davis, UC santa cruz, UC merced, SFSU,…really not sure what kind of school I can get in, need some one more experienced to help me out. I am not international student, but I don’t know too much about American schools. really appreciate if somebody share experience with me~~

nobody reply to me??:(

are you in high school or are you in college?

Assuming your in college, try more CSU schools. They teach more practical knowledge than the notoriously theoretical UCs, and more importantly, are easier to get into. CSU SLO and CSU pomona are the science schools. Getting into the UCs transfer will be very difficult. Very difficult.
