<p>I think you have a decent chance of getting in. It’s worth applying.</p>

<p>Your SAT score is on the lower end and below the average. However, if you’ve been doing extensive, committed work in the extracurriculars/service you mentioned, then you have a decent shot. But I wouldn’t bet on UCLA.</p>

<p>On the other hand, your socieconomic status, race, 1st generation status, and presentation to the Board of Education are all great hooks, so who knows?</p>
