Thank you!

If you had any chance of getting in it was with that SAT score, available when application opened up during early August. Currently, all of the spaces in University of Texas at Austin are being filled or are filled by top 8% students. If you are a Texas resident you will most likely get CAP, a gate way program to UT Austin, where you spend 1 year working on courses worth 30 credit hours in a University of Texas system school such as: UTSA, UT Arlington, UT at Tyler, UT El Paso and etc.

All the spaces are not being filled by the top 8% of the students. This page: [Automatic Admission | Be a Longhorn](http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/freshmen/decisions/automatic-admission) states this:

The University is to automatically admit enough students to fill 75% of available Texas resident spaces.

Are you in-state?

I am in-state; I’m doing communications undeclared.
I worked as a clerk at a bakery and a host at a restaurant

I have also won several awards in state German competitions throughout high school. Languages are my forte
