Hi, I’m looking to apply to BU, Umass Amherst, Northeastern, and some other Boston Colleges. So… freshman year I did really bad, I ended with a 3.29 which is very bad. Sophomore year I ended with a 3.62 which is a little bit better but still its not good. This year, my junior year, I have improved a lot, i’m in 2 AP classes and a few honors classes. I’ve gotten only high 90s with the exception of a 79 in honors Pre-Calc and an 82 in AP US history. This term I am doing much better and have 90’s in all except Pre-Calc which is almost a C+. I’ve been studying for a year for the SAT and I think i can do well on both the regular and subject SATs. This also applies for AP tests. I am part of a Key Club at my school, played in the band 9th and 10th grade. I have played highschool soccer for 1 year, sophomore year, and have played like 7 years for my town.I also have been playing piano for 11 years and am trying out for a Royal British Music Academy soon. I am not worried about essays or letters of recommendation, I am more worried on how colleges will view my screw ups 9/10 grade.
