Hi! I’m a current junior in high school looking at colleges. I want to major in Chemistry, with minors in sign language and environmental science. I really want to attend an institution in California like Stanford, Berkeley, or UCLA, but I’m a bit unsure what my chances are with my statistics. My freshman year was a little rough with a 3.1 unweighted GPA, but I was going through some family issues during that time. Also, there was a huge upward trend, with straight A’s and near 4.0 GPAs sophomore and junior year. My GPA is a 3.522 right now, and continuing to increase. I got a 27 on my ACT but retaking for a 30. Taking the SAT subject test for chemistry this June. With these stats, what are my chances with Stanford, Berkeley, and Los Angeles as an out of state student? Any response welcome 
Freshman Year: (as I said before freshman year was pretty rough)

Then sophomore year hit, and my focus on academics and stronger electives came along. There was a huge improvement here on out. My school also switched over to a trimester schedule which gave me the opportunity to take more classes.
