After School Activities: Lacrosse and Jazz band sometimes

I havent gotten my class rank and my school was top 100 in newsweek for top high schools in the country and I took SAT march 10th so wont get those scores back till the 4th but based on my grades how does it look. thank you

(pardon my EXTREMELY bad grammatical structure. I am in a hurry)

SAT scores will help a lot. Also, GPA? Are those the only ECs you have? How good are your writing skills?

All I’m saying is there is a lot more that goes into decisions than just grades and the other information will help a lot in a chances thread. That being said, the strength of your courses and the grades you earned in them look pretty good.

Thank you, and I will post my SAT scores April Fourth

based on your grades and classes alone, i think you’ll be accepted already.

Yeah I know this is probably a stupid question but what do I put for race because I am originally from Russia and English is my second language. I have been putting White on everything all along but I was wondering if I put other and if I will be a candidate for financial aid and or scholarship money

putting other would probably help you. I don’t know how big BU is on affirmative action, but it certainly can’t hurt.

putting other would imply that there was some other race involved. I’m sure there’s a section where you could put in that english is not your first language, but race is a biologicial fact, not defined by a country’s boundaries. you put ‘white’ because, well, you are white. You could be from Africa and still be white.

Lol thanks guys I see your logic now and it makes sense so I will continue to put White and mention to them that my first language is Russian
