Colleges I want to go to for CS:
NC State
UNC Chapel Hill
Virginia Tech
Georgia Tech
Penn State
UC Berkeley
Texas A and M
UT Austin
Purdue University
Other UC Schools

Reaches:
GTech
UT Austin
Berkeley
UCLA
UCSD

Matches:
TAMU CS
Purdue CS
UNC.

Low matches/safeties
NCSU
VTech - Safety
UC Riverside
Penn State

Mind you, for some of these schools, it would be a match or a safety to be accepted, but you are not accepted directly to major, so you would have to qualify for the CS program (take a specific course set and maintain a certain GPA)

Dang. I didn’t know my stats were this bad…
Thanks for your help and time

Are all the OOS public schools affordable like the California UC’s as a full pay student?

CS for UCB in College of Letters and Sciences or EECS?
What other UC’s besides UCLA/UCB and UCSD?

You realize the UC’s are test blind this admission cycle?

Your stats are pretty good, but for OOS students, admissions rates for GTech are in the teens, as they are for UT Austin, UC Berkeley, and UCLA. So those colleges are reaches for everybody. CS is also an impacted major, so admission rates to the UCs, including UCSD, are below those that one would calculate based on your stats.

For Purdue, TAMU, and UNC, you should check your school’s Naviance. If you weren’t applying for CS to Purdue, it would be a low match or even a safety, and the same for TAMU.

PS. Acceptance rates for the UCs are similar for in-state and OOS - both are pretty low.

Oh okay. Thanks
